The location of the hotel was very good, right near one of the main metro lines in the city. Breakfast was basic each day but was convenient for us as it set us up for a busy day of sightseeing. The bed was very very comfortable although they do only supply one pillow per person! The hotel staff spoke good English so communication was easy, they helped us with all queries. The room, although small, was tidy and the room as a whole was clean but basic. Would recommend to anyone who was going on a sightseeing tour and intended to spend more time out of the hotel than in! Makes a very good base camp!
The room had no air conditioning so got very warm, this was easily fixed by opening a window however it then became very noisy right through the night. This luckily did not affect us as we were so tired from our day we slept through, however if you are not that tired it could become quite annoying! The bathroom on occasion smelt of sewers which was not pleasant but you can keep the smell out of the bedroom by keeping the door closed!
Very kind reception staff and they speak russian!
We were not warned about repairing works at the outside part of the hotel. The workers began to make noise just outside the windows from 8:40 pm and we even couldn't open it just not to see their feet.
Very friendly and helpful front desk staff
They were very stingy with the breakfast. This was included in the price but there was no choice, quite an insulting start in Paris. No Cheese, No Hot food. However the lady who serves it is great and friendly. I requested a double bed room, but when I arrived was given a twin bed room as the view was better. This needs to be clarified whilst booking
NOTHING, it was worse than a backpackers. rude staff - I wouldnt recommend staying at the Riviera
worse place ever
Great location, 5 minutes walk to Subway, Sacre Coeur. Lovely clean rooms.
Door was difficult to shut, lack of hot water between 7am - 8am.
Location is very good, subway nearby and, for those that like to walk like me, is possible to walk to River Sena in 35 minutes.
The hotel is too much outdated for the price, it needs urgent reformation. No sound protection in the rooms, so I had been waking up everytime someone get out of the elevator.
The room was pretty nice and clean. Good location - very neer to metro. The staff was very pleasant if you did not need anything.
Although the room seemed to be very cleaned, after two nights there I had plenty of bits from ... I do not know. It was the first time I really needed a sewing kit and there was not any in all hotel and staff was not able to arrange it - and if I paid 160 EUR/night I would expect it.
Travelling with friends this hotel was an excellent choice. Perfect location. Lately renovated and neet hotel. Beautiful - yes! beautiful room and surprisingly big bathroom (in 3 peers room). I was surprised about the standard because i was expecting something lower. Very good value for money. I would stay again at this hotel when traveling to Paris next time.
The location was the best part of my stay only 10mins from Gare du Nord and 20mins into the centre of Paris!
The hotel should have informed guests it was being renovated when booking - however once this process has been complete the hotel should be much better
Nice hotel, great location (5 minute walk to the Sacre Coeur funicular, 10 minutes to Gare du Nord, 15 minutes to Opera), daily room cleaning, large bathroom with tub, good deal for money.
Very minor: mattresses are awfully soft, breakfast is nothing special (but the French don’t eat a big breakfast), no map of Paris available at reception.
It is situated in a nice area with restaurants and 10 min from Mon matre walking. My room was very small with small shower but ok. Breakfast: coffe and croissants & bread, basic but welcomed. It was a good deal for what I paid, and I would repeat! The owners were mending the rooms. Check that they offer the chance to bring u from/to airport for 17€ P.P. (45min) We paid 11€ P.P. Taking the train (one hour)
Small room and small bathroom. One morning I had no warm water in the room, but I called and in 15min was reppaired.
Very cheap, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds really comfy and clean
The room I stayed in was nothing like what was on the website and was very small. I may not have picked this hotel if I had seen the room I knew what I was going to get. But it was clean and the bed was very comfortable.
24hr reception gave us freedom to explore the city at our lesiure.
The bathroom smelt. The room was way too small for quad share. One of the staff at reception was very rude and made you feel like you were intruding when asking for an extra nights accommodation. Would not stay there again.
Very small room not very clean the breakfast was in the basement poor and awful!!! We paid for nothing.
